The Wyandotte Nation
Mourns the loss of our great and dearly loved Chief
LEAFORD BEARSKIN
Sept. 11, 1921 – Nov. 9, 2012
Not since the days of Tarhe have the Wyandotte people prospered under a more valiant and victorious warrior, eloquent statesman, noble gentleman, and servant to the people he so dearly loved. Leaford Bearskin will forever honorably and rightfully transcend to the privilege and responsibility of standing with all the Grand Sachem of Wyandot past.
To the family of Chief Bearskin, we extend the condolences from all 5,141 citizens of this great and powerful Nation he so gloriously served.
We miss and love you Chief!
