Cultural Days were held September 5 through 7, 2007, preceding the Annual Meeting and Pow Wow. Plan now to attend Cultural Days 2008 next year!
In the photo above Dr. Bruce Pearson is working with two attendees at Cultural Days. Dr. Pearson is our tribal linguist and has been working with the Nation for several years. Ramona Reid, behind Dr. Pearson in blue, serves on the Wyandotte Nation Board of Directors and participated in all Cultural Days activities.

Students gather in the gym at Wyandotte Elementary School, to share their knowledge of the Wyandotte language with special guests from Cultural Days. Richard and Carol Smith have been given a classroom of their own in which to teach our language to the students there. Many of these students are of Wyandotte or Seneca descent.

Dr. Bruce Pearson and Julie Pearson attend Cultural Days each year. Julie is an experienced language worker, too, and offers great insight.

Richard Zane Smith shows the model Longhouse that he built to teach Wyandotte Elementary School students about our way of life in past years.
