Wyandotte Nation’s 7th Street Casino, 777 N 7th Street Trafficway in Kansas City, hosted its Stride for Life event May 18 and raised $5,700 for Special Olympics of Kansas City.

The casino hosts the event, a 5K run/walk through downtown Kansas City, every year in support of a local charity. The past few years it has raised money for women’s hearth health and KU Oncology.

Representatives from the casino and the Wyandotte Nation presented a check to Deb Larimore, Public Relations Liaison for Special Olympics Kansas Tuesday evening, June 11.
