WYANDOTTE — Are you more powerful than a locomotive? Can you leap tall buildings in a single bound?
Put your super strength to the test by joining the Wyandotte Nation’s Bearskin Healthcare & Wellness Center for the annual Bearskin Strongman competition April 19.
Shred the shirt, throw on some purple pants and hulk out for the Strongman competition beginning at 10 a.m. Weigh-ins start at 7:30 a.m.
Maybe locomotives aren’t your thing; put your superhuman strength to the test instead with the vehicle deadlift, the tire flip, farmers carry, press medley and more.
There will be heavyweight competition for those 230 pounds and above, featherweight for those 229 pounds and below. The event is open to any male or female independent or sponsored athlete.
Pre-registration for the event is $35 on or before April 7. Walk-up registration is $50.
The competition will be held at Bearskin Healthcare & Wellness Center, 1 Turtle Drive, in Wyandotte.
