Description of Assignment

Wyandotte Nation Government is currently accepting applications for 2 full-time Early Childhood Lead Teachers (Non-Certified) for the Wyandotte Nation Education Department. Teacher will educate and care for young children in early childhood education services. Also, will organize and provide experiences that cater to all aspects of the children’s learning and development. AA degree in early childhood, Certificate of Mastery, or Child Development Associate Credential required with two or more years working in early childhood preferred.  Possess teaching skills and knowledge of different teaching methods and learning styles. Individuals must be CPR/AED/First Aid certified or willing to obtain certification within 60 days of employment. The employee may frequently be required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, twist and balance, cope with high level of stress, perform simple grasping, lift up to 75 pounds, be exposed to extreme temperature and/or humidity. In addition, applicant will be subject to a physical and background check/adjudication and drug/alcohol testing.
