Description of Assignment

Wyandotte Nation Government is currently accepting applications for an Infant Caregiver. Under direct supervision of the Early Childcare Program Coordinator, the Infant Caregiver will provide a nurturing, clean and safe environment for infants to develop and reach age appropriate milestones. Will demonstrate good judgement in the care and play with each infant.  AA degree in early childhood preferred with two or more years working in early childhood.  High school Diploma or GED at a minimum. Individuals must be CPR/AED/First Aid certified or willing to obtain certification within 60 days of employment. The employee may frequently be required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, twist and balance, cope with high level of stress, perform simple grasping, lift up to 75 pounds. In addition, applicant will be subject to a physical and background check/adjudication and drug testing.
