In addition, the preschool honored teachers Debbie Scribner and Sharon Bartley who taught their last year at the preschool after serving for 13 and 33 years.

“It’s not very often you have someone as special as these two come into your life but also into your heart,” said Lindsay Cooper, EC Program Coordinator at the school. “They have been there for so many of us, not just educationally, but also personally, and befriended each person that has crossed their paths. While our hearts are not ready to let you go, we are forever thankful for each of you and all you have done for us. We love you both dearly and we will miss you.”

“They have been a blessing to the Wyandotte Nation, they have been a blessing to the Turtle Tot Program, most of all they have been a blessing to all the kids who have been through the Program,” said Wyandotte Nation Chief Billy Friend.
